EXPERT PERSPECTIVES — Within the hours after Donald Trump was declared the winner of the 2024 presidential election, we turned to our community of consultants for reflections on the information, and what it could portend for nationwide and world safety points.
Not surprisingly, given the variety of views and backgrounds throughout the Cipher Temporary community, we heard a variety of views: reflections on coverage in the direction of China, Russia, Ukraine, Iran and the broader Center East; pleas for better consideration to protection industrial coverage, cyber safety, and longstanding U.S. alliances in Europe and Asia; and past nationwide safety insurance policies, a number of consultants harassed the significance of choosing a powerful nationwide safety group – a selected problem given what number of former nationwide safety officers had been overtly crucial of Trump in the course of the marketing campaign.
