Chelsea have finally unveiled their new away kit for the 2023/24 campaign which, like the home strip, also does not feature a sponsor.
Despite having already played four games this season, including an away trip to West Ham United, Chelsea had not previously revealed their new away strip, which had been leaked online months before its official release.
The new away kit is now finally here, with Chelsea confirming the new design also takes inspiration from old-school kits from the 90s.
With a colourway that is described as “pitch blue and soar”, Chelsea’s new away kit is made up of a geometric pattern mashing up dark and light blue.
The Chelsea badge and Nike accent are both gold as a tip to the “glamour of the King’s Road”.
Like the home shirt, this new away kit has also been unveiled without a sponsor and is available to buy without any front-of-shirt branding.
An agreement has been reached with technology firm Infinite Athlete over a sponsorship deal worth anywhere between £40m and £50m annually, but final approval of the deal from the Premier League is still missing.
Reports have suggested Chelsea are confident of confirming their agreement with Infinite Athlete in the coming days.
Fans who buy the new away kit without a sponsor will not have the option to add one at a later date once the agreement is announced.
