Looking at 4-hour LINK/USD charts from TradingView, the 25-day moving average has exceeded the 50-day moving average, forming a golden cross. This indicates bull dominance on Chainlink, as the asset’s 24-hour gain is 4%.

The Bollinger bands are moving far apart, indicating high volatility levels on Chainlink price. This is also reflected in the trading volume, which has risen 32% in the last 24 hours. The RSI is also in the overbought region, showing bull dominance on Chainlink.

The MACD is also moving in the green zone. This is another indication of quite some bull activity on Chainlink.

However, this surge can be attributed to Chainlink’s release of Chainlink Staking v0.2. Following the success of the previous version, which saw the pool filling in a mere three hours, the upgraded v0.2 is set to accommodate a staggering 45 million LINK tokens. The new version boasts a flexible unbonding mechanism, fortified security measures through stake slashing, and a modular architecture for seamless future upgrades.
