Cardi B is reflecting on how her confidence has shifted over the years.
Earlier this week, the Up artist went live on Stationhead‘s Bardigangradio, where she took questions from fans — and even teased her sophomore album’s potential release… That is, if she can ever muster up the same confidence hubby Offset says she once had!
While discussing her highly anticipated next record, the WAP rapper gave a little bit of context into why she’s nervous to put it out:
“You know what’s so funny? My husband, Offset, he just DM’d me this video of me being in Club Eleven … I guess when Invasion of Privacy came out, and Offset DM’d me like, ‘You remember her?’ And I said ‘[LOL] yes.’ He was like, ‘She was very confident, you couldn’t tell her s**t,’ because he just feels like I’m so not confident, like, when it comes to, like, my music, or my this, or my that.”
Invasion of Privacy famously debuted in 2018, with chart-topping hits like Bodak Yellow, I Like It, Be Careful, and more.

The mother of two continued:
“But you know what? I’m just, you know, I’ve just been a little bit afraid of like, people just judging and everything, but it’s like, I gotta put my big girl panties on. I just gotta make a decision, so, but I have to make it soon so I can do these f**king music videos.”
Is that a subtle confirmation that she has songs ready to go?? We sure hope so!

Since Invasion of Privacy’s release five years ago, the 30-year-old has put out several singles, but no full body of work — however, when she finally does, we know we’ll be first in line to listen!
