One of the largest engineering firms in Houston has named its first female CEO in the company’s 125-year history.
Kansas City, Missouri-based Burns & McDonnell announced April 18 that it has promoted Leslie Duke to the role of chief executive, which will take effect upon current Chairman and CEO Ray Kowalik’s retirement at the end of 2023. Duke, an El Paso native, has served in the role of regional president and general manger in Houston for the past six years.
