Blue Springs named a new economic development director who has worked to build up the downtowns of Kansas City, Kansas, and Lee’s Summit.
Jason Norbury will lead efforts to attract and retain businesses in Blue Springs, the city said in a Thursday release. The Eastern Jackson County community had a population of roughly 58,600 in 2020. Top employers include the Blue Springs School District, St. Mary’s Hospital, Hy-Vee and Fike Corp.
