The nomination of Abdu Rozik surprised everyone including the host Salman Khan. Khan, who returned to the show on Friday after recovering from dengue, was quite upset with the contestants. He said that Abdu is the only contestant inside the Bigg Boss 16 house who is playing a fair game. Khan announced that he will tell the name of the contestant from the nominated contestants’ list on Saturday, October 29, who will leave the Bigg Boss 16 house this week.
In today’s Saturday, October 29 episode, Weekend Ka Vaar, Salman Khan first offered captaincy to Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia if she sacrifices half ration or food of the house. However, Nimri declined the offer.

Salman then offered captaincy to Gautam Vig if he sacrifices the entire food or ration of the house. Gautam agreed to the offer, only inviting ire from housemates. All the contestants including Sajid Khan and Abdu Rozik lashed out at Gautam for giving up the whole ration for captaincy.

Salman then said that he will finally announce the name of the contestant from the nominated list who will be evicted today. As all housemates were irked over Gautam’s decision and expecting his name, Salman announced the name of Gautam. But later said that Gautam is safe and can continue with his captaincy task. This is the second time when Gautam has become the captain of the house.

Salman then pranked with housemates that Abdu Rozik has been eliminated from Bigg Boss 16 house. Salman asked Abdu Rozik to come out of the house, leaving all the contestants shocked. He, however, immediately revealed that it was only a joke and that Abdu is safe.

Salman later announced that everyone is safe this week and that there would be no elimination. Salman said he wanted everyone to stay inside the Bigg Boss 16 house this week and starve.
“Sab ke sab bhooke maro ek hafte (All of you, die of hunger),” Salman told contestants.
The nominated contestants included Abdu Rozik, Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia, Soundarya Sharma, Gautam Vig, Tina Datta, Gori Nagori and Shiv Thakare.
