The scheduled foreclosure auction of the Hilton Minneapolis – the largest hotel in the Twin Cities – was postponed on Friday.
The 826-room hotel was scheduled to be sold in a sheriff’s sale on Friday morning at the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office, according to a public notice. An employee with the office reported on Friday that the auction was canceled and wouldn’t be held during its scheduled time. There’s no word on a new scheduled date, according to one of the hotel’s owners.
