Five in a row for Arsenal?
Arsenal have won each of their last four Premier League home games against Manchester United, the longest home winning run against them by any side in the competition.
The last team to win five in a row in the league were West Brom between 1976 and 1980.

Mikel Arteta has decided to reward Gabriel Jesus with a starting place for this crunch clash.

Carrick selects unchanged side
Following Manchester United’s incredible outing against Manchester City last week, Michael Carrick has named an unchanged team.
That means that Harry Maguire keeps his place in central defence while Kobbie Mainoo partners Casemiro in midfield.

‘Mikel Arteta bites the bullet’
Here’s Will Castle inside the Emirates Stadium:
“The signs were there. Gabriel Jesus, who fronts today’s programme at the Emirates, starts for Arsenal as Mikel Arteta bites the bullet to drop the under-performing Viktor Gyokeres. Piero Hincapie is also back from injury as, slowly but surely, the Gunners’ defensive fitness woes lighten.
“For United, it’s an unchanged side from the stellar derby outing that saw them dismantle Manchester City. Michael Carrick isn’t fixing what isn’t broken.”

Dorgu adaptable for United
Patrick Dorgu ‘can do both’ says Michael Carrick when asked if he was better playing on the wing or as a left-back.
“I think he can do both,” the United boss said.
“He was immense last week. His work rate and the way he plays the position, his general play was something we’re really pleased about.
“I wouldn’t want to pin him down, because I think he can do both.
“Certainly attacking-wise, and that threat, he was pretty impressive last week.”

Michael Carrick explains why Manchester United carry real confidence
Michael Carrick is prepared for a “big challenge” at table-topping Arsenal but says there is a quiet confidence around Manchester United after last weekend’s derby triumph.
The former Red Devils midfielder, captain and coach enjoyed a fine start to life as head coach by masterminding last weekend’s impressive 2-0 win over Manchester City.
United deserved to win by a greater scoreline and take the confidence from that surprise success to north London, where a clash with Premier League leaders Arsenal awaits on Sunday afternoon.
“It’s been a good week,” Carrick said. “It was a big result, a big performance and a big uplift, you know, with the feeling inside the stadium.
“It’s getting that balance between taking the encouragement and the confidence from the game itself and the performance and keeping level-headed and the feet on the ground.
“We’ve got another big game coming up and one game doesn’t make you a great team, it gives us a great foundation to build on.
“There’s a lot of confidence, a lot of good feeling within the group but measured with that, and we know what’s coming and we’ve got to be ready for it.”

Mikel Arteta sends message to Arsenal fans ahead of Manchester United clash
Mikel Arteta has challenged Arsenal supporters to create “more energy and more positiveness” in the club’s pursuit of a first Premier League title in 22 years.
Arsenal host Manchester United at the Emirates Stadium in the best shape to end their barren league run since Arsene Wenger led the Invincibles to glory more than two decades ago.
However, Arteta’s side have played out two goalless draws in their last league fixtures – at home to Liverpool and then at Nottingham Forest – to fuel an already anxious fanbase. Arsenal have finished runners-up for the past three seasons.
But, speaking on the eve of another pivotal match in his side’s title tilt, Arteta said: “It is not about calming (the fans), but it is about continuing to do what we are doing really well and try to evolve every single day to be better.
“So, from their side, it is continuing to do what they do in the stadium; create more energy, more positiveness around the games in each action, and if we do that and we create that kind of a scenario, we are going to make it more and more difficult to the opponent, and that is going to help us to win more games.”
