Democrats in the Senate have drawn up a bill supporting ethics transparency in the Supreme Court.
Chuck Grassley, the 89-year-old Republican senator from Iowa, has said the bill is “about harassing and intimidating” Supreme Court justices. The leading Republican on the Judiciary Committee, Sen. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, has been quoted as saying the bill would “destroy” the high court.
