Addressing the media on Wednesday, the NBA commissioner Adam Silver spoke out on the speculation that he could leave his position to become the new CEO of the Walt Disney Co. Disney is looking to find a permanent replacement for longtime CEO Bob Iger, who returned from retirement in November last year but is only planning to serve for two more years.
Silver effectively shut down the rumors, saying that he loves his current job and does not plan to go anywhere (per veteran NBA writer Marc Stein).
