(Reuters) – Apple Inc (NASDAQ:)’s prime provider Foxconn Know-how Group halted operations at two of its factories in japanese China’s Kunshan after new COVID-19 instances have been reported on website, the South China Morning Publish reported on Monday.
The operations at these crops have been suspended since Wednesday final week, with all workers confined to dormitories inside, the report mentioned.
The 2 Foxconn crops, positioned at Dianfa and Fuhong within the northern a part of Kunshan, are two of 4 manufacturing campuses operated within the metropolis by the Taiwanese agency, which is also referred to as Hon Hai Precision Business Co Ltd.
Apple and Foxconn didn’t instantly reply to Reuters’ request for remark.
