@Prasanna Rajagopal My opinion, Iger only wanted Hulu–Fox and Comcast saw this and started twisting the screw.Nothing in that Fox acquisition was worth over $70 billion. Disney turned around and sold off basically everything besides Avatar movies (maybe worth $5-10 billion?), Nat Geo, the Simpson’s, the India operations, and the 33% Hulu ownership.The only logical conclusion I can draw is Iger was willing to bet the entire company that Hulu was worth $150 billion+, so he bid $50 billion for the 33% stake. Now he has to buy the last 1/3rd, yet we’re supposed to believe that 1/3rd is only worth $9 billion?It does about half the operating income of Netflix, and it’s only in the US. It’s easily worth $120 billion+.
