Giannis Konstantelias – PAOK Salonika: According to a report from Football Insider, the Seagulls are plotting to make a potential swoop for Greek ‘sensation’ Giannis Konstantelias.
Journalist Pete O’Rourke has claimed Roberto De Zerbi’s side have earmarked the Greek attacking midfielder as one of their top options for the winter window.
The 20-year-old, whose current deal runs through to 2027, is currently playing in Greece’s top flight and has notched up a return of four goals and three assists in 935 minutes of league action (via Transfermarkt).
Thursday 4th January
Eiran Cashin – Derby County: According to the Express, Brighton will look to pick back up their interest in young prospect Eiran Cashin at the end of the campaign after recently seeing any interest blocked by Derby.
The Irish centre-back has been integral to Derby’s bright 2023/24 campaign thus far having played 23 times in League One, where he has even returned two goals (via Transfermarkt).
It is reported the Seagulls were eyeing a potential deal in the region of £4m, but the Rams’ success in the third tier has meant any potential January exit has been put on hold.
Although Derby look in a good position to potentially return to the Championship, the prospect of a move to the Premier League may prove seriously tempting for the youngster.

Marc Leonard – Coventry City: According to the Daily Record (via Coventry Telegraph), Coventry City are eyeing a potential January swoop for the on-loan Brighton star Marc Leonard, who is currently playing his football with Northampton.
The Scotland youth international has already made 25 starts in League One this season as Northampton linger around the mid-table spots, but it is apparent he is attracting interest from the Championship.
Coventry previously had Brighton midfielder Yasin Ayari – now at Blackburn Rovers – on loan, but he could potentially find himself returning to the south coast in January due to his lack of game time.
However, it is apparent Leonard is a player in demand, with a number of other Championship clubs believed to hold an interest in signing him in January.
