Spurs keen on Adarabioyo
Foot Mercato: Tottenham Hotspur are keen on signing Fulham centre-back Tosin Adarabioyo.
The 25-year-old, who graduated from Manchester City’s academy, has entered the final year of his contract at Craven Cottage and could be available for a cut-price this summer.
The towering 6 foot 5 defender made 25 appearances for the Cottagers last term, helping his side achieve a top-half finish for the first time since 2012.
Having already signed Leicester City playmaker James Maddison and Empoli shot-stopper Guglielmo Vicario, Spurs appear eager to better their disappointing eighth-placed finish last season by bolstering their squad this summer.
Tottenham close in on Van de Ven
The Athletic: Tottenham are closing in on the signing of Wolfsburg defender Micky van de Ven.
A deal between the two clubs is not done as of yet, but personal terms aren’t thought to be a problem. A fee in the region of £30m is being mooted for the 22-year-old, who made 33 appearances in the Bundesliga last season, scoring one goal whilst providing two assists.
Transfer specialist Fabrizio Romano further revealed that the Netherlands Under-21 international has a ‘strong desire’ to make the move to north London, whilst he also reports that discussions with Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Edmond Tapsoba are ongoing.
Tapsoba, 24, has been capped 36 times by Burkina Faso and has been a mainstay in Leverkusen’s side since completing an €18m (£15.5m) from Portuguese outfit Vitória Guimarães in 2020.
Over the last few years, Tapsoba has been hotly linked with several Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Arsenal, but it would appear Spurs are leading the chase to land the defender.
It remains to be seen whether Spurs will attempt to sign both players, with some reports suggesting it will be one or the other due to finances.

Spurs in talks for Galatasaray duo
Milliyet (via Sport Witness): Spurs have held talks with Galatasaray for Nicolò Zaniolo and Victor Nelsson.
Turkey-based outlet Milliyet reports that Spurs submitted a ‘crazy offer’ for the duo, but Galatasaray’s vice-president Erden Timur was less than pleased with the proposal.
The bid is believed to have included 2-3 of their own players plus €30-35m (£25.9-30.2m), but there is no mention of what players were offered to the Süper Lig club.
Negotiations are ongoing between the two parties and Timur ‘wants to take concrete steps’ to sell some of his side’s assets.
Zaniolo, 23, only moved to the Turkish club earlier this year after completing a winter move from Roma, whilst defender Nelsson has been a mainstay in the team since joining from FC Copenhagen two years ago.
Bayern line up second bid for Kane
Evening Standard: Bayern Munich are lining up a second proposal for Spurs striker Harry Kane.
Tottenham rejected Bayern’s opening offer of £60m for the England international but the Bundesliga champions are now preparing a second bid which could be in excess of £86m.
However, the north London club want ‘at least’ £100m for their prized asset, which Thomas Tuchel’s side aren’t willing to pay. Although given Kane is entering the final 12 months of his contract, chairman Daniel Levy could be tempted by a lesser fee from an overseas club.
Reports in Germany suggest the 29-year-old has already agreed personal terms in principle with Bayern, and all that’s left is an agreement between the two clubs.
Kane is their number-one target but Napoli’s Victor Osimhen has also been discussed among the board and could be an alternative option.
